Image Library Stock Photography

Image libraries are basically stock photography image websites. Most professional photographers have images uploaded with the best image libraries in order to make sales.

How frequently sales are made depends on a number of circumstances, but you can bet that the buyers of their images mainly come from the media. You see, the media is needs new images each and every day. If you have what the media wants then you'll make a sale - so long as your images are in the right places.

I'll let you into a little secret here: your images should be of something popular, but just that little bit different from the normal. For example, say you think that images of a popular resort would be attractive to the media. Don't just upload bog-standard images of that resort just because other photographers have similar ones uploaded. Wait for rare things to occur, like when cherry trees are in full bloom, or when the resort is layered with snow. Get the idea?

Click on the links below for information on various image libraries. Perhaps one of these will eventually hold most of your photographs and provide you with an ongoing income.
